Speech Therapy :

Physical Therapy:

The role of the Physical Therapists is to assist in restoring and maintaining maximum musculoskelatal functions. Physical Therapists help with pain and discomfort, range of motion deficits, joint mobility, altered tone, gait deviations, muscle weakness, balance and coordination, proprioception, fine and gross motor movements, transfers, endurance and sensory deficits by using the following treatment tools:
soft tissue manipulation
joint mobilization
massage
modalities
therapeutic exercise
patient education
balance training
coordination training
gait training
posture modification and training
wound management by using prosthetics, orthotics and assistive devices.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapists assist individuals in improving the level of independence in activities of daily living and self care skills, such as dressing, feeding, bathing, grooming, cooking, toileting, handwriting, etc.
Occupational Therapy addresses fine motor coordination skills, visual perception skills, sensory integration for function and adaptive use and motor planning skills.
Occupational Therapists help patients to improve their abilities so that they can function as efficiently as possible in their environment.
Treatment tools used include sensory integration, fine motor coordination, kinetic activities, developmental stimulation and adaptive equipment such as splints, orthotics and prosthetics.

Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Advanced Health Physical Therapy, Inc. has been providing home- based Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy for several years. Currently, we provide home therapy services to a variety of pediatric and adult patients and treat conditions such as: orthopedic, neurological, neuromuscular, sports injuries, developmental disabilities and work-related injuries. Our goal is to provide the best possible therapy for our patients so that they can maximize their functional abilities. We believe that communication with patients, caregivers, case coordinators, physicians and insurance companies is very important; therefore, every effort is made to keep everyone informed on the patient's progress.
